The rubber belt - driven by a vulcanized drum - is a conveyor belt supported by a stainless steel hopper bottom.
Lump breaker as an optional extra : The lump breaker is perpendicular to the belt and turns simultaneously with the one in the hopper, crushing the lumps. The mechanism considerably improves the flow of salt under the adjustable flap.
